Relation of Some Terrorist
Actions against Cuba from 1990 to 2000
Right from the start of the Revolution, the Counter
revolutionary groups , financed and trained by the North American CIA, conceived and
carried out several terrorist acts that have cost valuable lives and a lot of resources to
Cuba. At the same time , several actions planned to eliminate physically the Commander in
Chief , Fidel Castro and other leaders of the Revolution.
At the 90 decade , encouraged by the withdrawal of
the socialist field , the counter revolutionary organizations intensified and continued
developing with impunity , from USA and other operation basis in Central America , several
violent actions against Cuba and its leaders. Now, a relation of some of these actions:

Armed infiltration by Northern Santa Cruz

17.- Terrorist counter revolutionary infiltration

29.- Armed infiltration near Cárdenas city.
July 4.-
Attempt to attack goals placed at Havana's coasts.

September 9.- "Tony Bryant" is arrested by the FBI from L Commands
October 7.-
Armed attack from the sea against Meliá Varadero hotel

19.- Armed terrorist infiltration by Carbó beach at
Yagajuay
January.-
A PUND expedition is arrested by the Coast Guards Service
April 2.- The "Mikonos" ship tank is attacked with machine guns seven
miles at the northern side of Matanzas.
May 18 .-the plane " Brothers to the Rescue" violates the Cuban air space
May 21.- An
armed group is arrested by the Custom Service Group in its travel to Cuba.
May - The Mafia leader , José Basulto informs about the terrorist plan against
Cuba.
July 26. -
The Secret Armed Army Plan fails to attack goals against Cuba.
August 21.- King Judge underestimates charges against
the arrested in May
August .The so called Cuba-21 Movement plans to spread
propaganda about Cuba.
September.- Released by King Judge , the arrested in January
October.- José Basulto´s calling to the Cuban young people and to the population
as a whole, to carry out terrorist actions.

18.-The terrorist mercenary , Mario García Rubalcaba is
arrested
At the beginning of the year.- FNCA executives organize an attempt plan against the Commander in Chief,
Fidel Castro.

6.- Command Group arrested
by North American naval authorities , that was attempting to infiltrate in Cuba.

25 .- Flight of the plane "Brothers to the
Rescue" near Cuba to interfere policy radio.

June 2.-Two members of the terrorist organization :

June 8.- FBI dismounts secret camp of the terrorist
organization
August 20.- Flight of four planes near the Cuban coasts
September 4 .-Armed
infiltration by Caibarién, Villa Clara
October 6.- Armed attack against "Guitart Hotel" at Coco key
October 15.- Landing with plans of going to the mountains
by Caibarién, Villa Clara
October.-Training begins to carry out sabotage against the oil
refinery
November.-
Plans to Attempt against the Commander in Chief , Fidel Castro
November 2.- FBI arrested in Miami, personnel attempting to set fire in a donation
warehouse for Cuba.
November 11.- .Armed infiltration near
Varadero, Matanzas.
January.-
The head of the organization of "Brothers to the Rescue" ,
José Basulto, tried to agglutinate terrorist organizations to introduce weapons and
explosives in Cuba.
February March .- FNCA gives instructions for the goal study
in Cuba , to carry out terrorist actions.
March 2.-
Terrorist infiltration by Puerto Padre, Las Tunas.
March 8.-Exit of people , then
they returned to the national territory with false passports .
April
18.- The murderer Leonel Macías was left free in Miami
by an Immigration Appeal Board.
May 20. The "Guitart Hotel " at Coco Key, at Ciego de Avila was attacked
again , from a quick craft.
July 12.-
Three members of PUND are arrested by the FBI, when they were going
to infiltrate in Cuba. They were released.
September
2. Again a "Fleet"
sails to Cuba but it fails when one of the crafts sank.
December
16.-. Members of the Terrorist Organization at Los
Angeles , were arrested by the FBI, they had plans to infiltrate in Cuba.
December 29.- Two Cubans were released , who were in jail for having stolen a craft at
Havana Port.
January 12.- The emigrate, Cecilio Reynoso was arrested
in Cuba, with 900 grams of C-4 explosives and detonation electric devices.

13.- Plains of "Brothers to the Rescue" violate
again the Cuban air space.
January 18 . Federal authorities withdraw the charges against the arrested on December
16.
January
23.- A group is being arrested by the USA's customs that
were leading themselves to Cuba with weapons. They were released that same day without
bail.
February 11.- A PUND team was intercepted by Coast Guards
, the group had shooting against hotels orientations.
February 24.- Withdrawal of two planes of "Brothers to the
Rescue" when they violated the Cuban air space.
April 7.- F-4 Commands starts a campaign in favor of the liberation of
terrorists in jail at USA.
July.- A bomb is thrown at the "Centro Vasco" , Miami , where the Cuban
Vedette , Rosita Fornés was going to act.
August 1.-A bomb is thrown in the offices of the agency "Cuba Travels"
August 21.- The North American terrorist , Walter Van Der Veer is arrested in Cuba
September 16.- Armed infiltration produced in Punta Alegre, Ciego de Avila.
October.-A terrorist plan is known by means of which , air devices , guided at
distance , were going to be used to throw them full of explosives against goals in Cuba.

21.- A plane , property of the Department of USA spreads
a substance with Thrip Palmi Karny plague at Matanzas Province.
December.- North American authorities intercept an armed group willing to carry out
an operation against Cuba.
April 12.- Explosion of middle intensity at the "Ache" Discotheque of Melia
Cohiba, hotel.
April 30 .-Another explosive device is deactivated at the 15 floor of Meliá Cohiba ,
hotel.
May 24.- A strong explosion at "Cubanacán enterprise offices", in
Mexico.
July 12.- Two devices exploit at National and Capri hotels, at Havana.
August 3.- A small
explosion at Havanatur offices , in Nassau, Bahamas.
August 4 .- A bomb
exploits at the lobby of Meliá Cohiba, hotel
August 11.- FNCA publishes in the Miami press , a support declaration in favor of the
terrorist actions that were occurring in Cuba.
August 22.- A small potent bomb exploits at "Sol Palmeras" hotel, at
Varadero beach.
September 4.- Detonations were experienced at "Tritón" ,
"Copacabana" and "Chateau Miramar" . the author was arrested that same
day.
October 19.- Explosive device is discovered in a "Transtur" micro bus.
In 1997.-Luis Posada Carriles with FNCA executives organize an attempt plan against
the Commander in Chief , Fidel Castro, to be carried out at the "Margarita
island" during the VII Iberian American Summit.
October 30.- A explosive device is found under a sale stand at the international
airport "José Martí"
March 4.- Two citizens from Guatemala, are arrested who were willing to place four
explosive devices
March 20.- the gangster element and spouse of one of the arrested women on March 4,
participating in the action.
April 5.-Armed infiltration by the North
of Matanzas
May 16.- Armed infiltration near Santa Lucía , Pinar del Río
August.-
Before the announced visit of the Cuban President , Fidel Castro
to the Dominican Republic, plans were thought to attempt against his life.
October 10.- A terrorist Salvadoran is arrested at the international airport
"José Martí" with plastic explosives.
November
17.- Four terrorists were detained by Panamanian
authorities that were preparing an attempt against the Commander in Chief , Fidel Castro.
